Tenuta Ammiraglia - Frescobaldi

It was an incredible experience! We were a group of 8 people celebrating our friend’s hen, we decided to spend part of the day at this Tenuta and it was a great decision! The tour lasts around 40 minutes and they show you around, then you can enjoy the tasting in their restaurant. We selected Option 2, we were a bit concerned we wouldn’t haven eaten much, yet the food was delicious and definitely enough! We would highly recommend this place, and it’s totally worth the money. I am already planning to visit it again!

Very modern cellar. We booked the visit and the speaker was really good. Unfortunately, the bottling is carried out at another location and therefore part of the romanticism of the cellars is missing. It's really a shame. The 5 wines of the tasting deserve to be tried, but in my opinion the Aurea rosé is excellent. The accompanying aperitif with quality products is also excellent. They ship to your home. Perhaps the price of the visit is a little expensive.

The place is enchanting, the tasting is very careful, by spending €40 you can taste three types of wine with an abundant platter made up of quality products that the company produces. The only note, for which I cannot leave the fifth star, is (perhaps an oversight on that day which we and the other members of the group could not fail to notice) concerning the presence of the estate's friendly dog who seemed to us to be roaming too freely among the guests sitting inside the room while the tasting was underway . Not all guests may feel comfortable with a little face begging for food or cuddles while eating. Unfortunately during the visit, to reach the fermentation vats, two people from my group stepped on dog excrement along the sidewalk which luckily had been there for a few days. I don't know whether to consider it a positive factor or not. A little further along some stairs (still inside the cellar) some souvenirs clearly left by male dogs were noticed. Not to mention a lady who took part in the tasting accompanied by a poodle often without a leash, free to run around together with the sissy in the cellar spaces or among the other guests. An invitation to pay more attention to these little things that perhaps for some guests might not be so trivial.
